How do I get access to the price list?
Back to TopWhat payment methods are available?
Back to TopHow much does access to the list cost?
Back to TopHow often is the list updated? The list is updated once a month, usually at the end of the first week of the month. Back to TopWhat if I forget my password? All you need to do is enter either your access code or the email address we have on record in the "Forgot your Password" form. If we find it on record, your access code and password will be mailed to your to your email address. Back to TopDoes ADTEC trade in rough diamonds? No, we don't deal in rough diamonds; we feel this would be a conflict of interests if we set the prices and then trade at those prices. Back to TopHow does one trade in diamonds in South Africa? There are many rules and regulations pertaining to the diamond trade in South Africa. To get accurate and current information as to these rules and regulations, please contact the South African Diamond Board on +27 11 334-8980. Back to TopCan ADTEC put me in touch with dealers in South Africa? No, unfortunately not. Most of the rough diamond dealers are already in relationships with overseas partners and we find that these dealers are not happy with us providing their contact details. Back to TopDoes ADTEC offer any employment opportunities? No, we have a very small staff and are not looking to expand at this time. Back to TopWhat is the average price of a diamond? Its amazing how many times this question is asked of us! Because of the vastly differing values, its impossible to set an average. Some industrial diamonds (boart) are as little as US$1 per carat while some special diamonds are worth many millions per carat. This would give an average of "some" millions of US Dollars which is totally meaningless. Back to TopWhat discounts and deductions are built into the prices?Trade discounts of between 60% (for a 0.30ct M I3) and 22% (for a 10.00ct D IF) are applied to the value of the polish you should recover from the rough diamond. Polishing costs of US$30-70/ct (depending on size and quality) are also deducted. A profit margin of 10% is finally applied to give the final pricing. Back to TopADTEC (Pty) Ltd
